To arrange a tourist invitation, contact any authorized travel agency. Ask your tourist services provider to show you its reference number to make sure it is entitled to offer such services.
It will take about an hour to draft the document and print it. No particular format is required for a visa invitation, other than that it must be printed on the company's official letterhead. An invitation for a tourist visa must include the travel agency's official details, the traveler's complete personal information, his/her planned itinerary in Russia and the dates of entry and departure.
As soon as you receive your invitation, contact the Consular office and submit it for processing along with your personal details and the proofs that the purpose of your trip to Russia is solely tourism and you will leave Russia before your visa will expire.
If your application will be granted, a Russian tourist visa permitting you to stay in Russia for a period not exceeding 30 days will be issued. Usually, tourist visas are valid for the period specified in the letter of invitation. This type of visa can be single-entry or double-entry.

Russian Private (Visitor) Visa Requirements for Citizens of Algeria
Algerian citizens who plan to come to Russia to pay a visit to their friends or relatives are required to obtain a visitor visa. Any Russian resident can prepare this document.
Ask your friend or relative to contact a local FMS office and provide a copy of your travel passport, his/her national passport, a proof of his/her income and a guarantee letter stating that the person who invites you to come to Russia undertakes the responsibility to provide you with everything necessary for your comfortable accommodation during your stay. Since Algeria is on the list of high travel risk countries, the host will be invited to an interview by the Russian authorities, where he/she will be asked to explain the purpose of your visit to Russia.

Business invitation issued by a company is basically an application lodged at the Consular office to support the foreign citizen's visa application. This type of invitation can be issued within 1 working day. After that, it should be sent by express mail service to the invited person. Only those companies that are accredited by the Department of Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation may issue visa invitations.
To obtain an FMS-approved invitation, the company's official must lodge an application form with supporting documents attached to it. This type of application can take up to 17 days to review. During this period, the foreigner will be checked to determine if he/she has been deported from Russia or has any unpaid fines for past visa violations. In case of a positive outcome, an invitation for a business visa will be issued with an individual number indicated in it.
The Telex invitation is the most convenient way to handle this stage in the business visa procedure. Telex is a secure communication channel used to send electronic messages from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Russian Embassies or Consulates located abroad. No paperwork is required on the foreigner's part in that case other than the Telex number which should be sent to him/her by email or dictated by phone.
