Good to know

Entry is only possible through the checkpoints on this list. The electronic visa is not valid at other border checkpoints: if the checkpoint where you plan to cross the border is not on the list, you will not be able to enter Russia on an e-visa.

Ivangorod is closed for reconstruction. The Ivangorod road and river checkpoint on the border with Estonia has been temporarily closed since 1 February 2024 (according to the official website of the Consular Department of the Russian MFA). For trips to the Leningrad Region, choose other checkpoints — Svetogorsk, Torfyanovka or Brusnichnoye.

The list can change. The list is updated periodically — always check the current version on the official MFA website before planning your route.
