An issuance of such invitation takes 1 hour. In order to do it you should contact a travel agency, which has a reference number and is authorized in Federal tourism agency. Every travel agency can print tourist invitations on their own letterheads because the law does not set how it should look.
Such invitation must contain a tourist voucher and a tourist invitation confirmation. Information about travel agency should be indicated in this invitation (name, reference number, address) as well as information about Senegalese citizen, trip’s plan, dates of arrival and departure and number of entries.
There are not any checks during the issuance of a tourist invitation. That’s why it does not guarantee that Senegalese citizen will obtain a tourist visa. Except an invitation he need a medical insurance, air tickets, hotel booking etc.
The maximum period of visa duration is 30 days. Visa is for single or double entries.

Russian private (homestay) visa for Senegalese citizens
If Senegalese citizen is planning to visit Russia to meet his relatives or friends, he needs to submit documents for private visa. He will need a private invitation letter to do it. Individuals living in Russia and legal entities authorized in Russia can properly issue and send it.
In order to obtain a homestay invitation letter, an individual submits an application in the Federal Migration Service section on his residence’s administrative unit. Also you need to submit copies of foreign citizen’s and inviting person’s passports, incoming statement of an inviting person, document confirming state duty payment and a guarantee letter. A person who invites Senegalese citizen must provide everything necessary for his stay in the Russian Federation.

A person, who has issued an invitation to the Russian Federation for a foreigner, is responsible for that his guest had left Russia on time. If his visa expires, a person invited Senegalese citizen will pay a deportation. Russian work visa for Senegalese citizens
A company authorized in Russia and interested in a foreigner’s visit to Russia, needs to issue a work invitation, which is necessary to obtain work visa. In order to hire foreign employees, a company must have an appropriate permission. If that company has a permission, its representative can apply for a Russian work permit for Senegalese citizen. Russian Electronic Visa from Senegal
An electronic visa (hereinafter referred to as "e-visa") is a new type of a visa document. A visa invitation to Russia is not required for obtaining an e-visa. To obtain an e-visa to Russia use our “E-visa to Russia” service.
An e-visa can be only single-entry. The permitted stay in Russia on an e-visa is up to 8 days from the date of entry within its validity period.
The validity period and/ or permitted stay on an e-visa cannot be extended. To obtain an e-visa a foreign citizen needs a digital passport photo and a completed application form containing full and valid data at the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
